![]() It will turn out that Dash is the leader of this group. They are reckless and have spats with the police, and often complicate things legally to the point where many of the villains they stop don’t end up getting prison sentences at all. They are increasingly totalitarian, insisting that they act for the greater good even if people don’t appreciate it. The gist of the plot is that there’s a growing group of rebellious Supers who act as heroes even though it’s against the law. Interest in heroes briefly peaked before dying out, and the status quo stayed pretty much the same for very similar reasons. The world did not go back to being accepting of superheroes as they had hoped after the events of the Incredibles 1. They have a couple of elementary school aged grandchildren, and for the most part are a tightly-knit family (Except for Dash, which we’ll get to). They are both working jobs that they like (Bob is a firefighter, Helen is a commercial pilot). And while Screen Slaver didn’t make a real compelling villain for me, I think Dash would have been a great one who would fit thematically in several ways as well.īob and Helen are in their mid-fifties/early sixties. I think a time skip that corresponds to the real-world time between movies would have been fun and would flow better than picking up right where the last one left off.
